Yamaha Fascino Miss S Diva 2015 auditions starts at Hotel Golden Tulip in Lucknow

Girls from the state had their tryst with glitz and glamour as the Yamaha Fascino Miss S Diva 2015 auditions came to Lucknow. Organised at Hotel Golden Tulip, which was the hopitality and venue partner for the event, the audition saw more than 80 girls trying their luck for the Miss Diva 2015 crown. Coming from Lucknow and neighbouring towns like Allahabad, Kanpur and Bareilly, the lot was a vibrant mix of Engineering, Law and MBA students, and working professionals.
The judges for the day were Provogue Personal Care Mr India 2015 second runner up, Prateek Gujral, and renowned fashion designer from Lucknow, Ashie Sudhansh. Fresh from his win just about a month earlier, Prateek could relate with the girls who were walking the ramp. "Twenty days ago, I was at the other side of the table, so I could feel the nervousness of the contestants. I'd decided that I'd be really sweet to them and ask them good questions. The talent in Lucknow is really good, and the competition is quite tough. I didn't know that the girls were so motivated here. There are a few who've come back again this year after appear ing for last year's auditions, and their is a marked improvement in them," said Prateek. Ashie, on the other hand, was pleasantly surprised with the contestants from the city ."The experience was beyond my expectations. There is so much potential in the girls. In fact, a number of them walked like professionals on the ramp. Seeing the talent, I feel we should have a grooming school here for the girls to hone their skills,"said Ashie.
The first round saw the girls walking the ramp in shorts and ganjis, after which a few were eliminated. The second round was a cocktail dresses' round, with the girls donning LBDs and introducing themselves to the judges. Finally, six girls were shortlisted from the city audition, who will now be fast tracked to the next round of selections in Mumbai.For more information, log on to http:www.missdiva.com
